• Early Childhood Programs

    At Dance There, there are a variety of Early Childhood Dance Programs available for your little star! Classes are offered in Mini Stars, Tutu's & Bow Ties, Hip Hop and Acro. All classes are designed to enhance fine and gross motor skills, encourage creativity, and develop social skills. Children are in a caring and positive environment as they learn dance steps and vocabulary, helping them to acquire a life-long love of the performing arts. The talented teachers at Dance Theme will ensure your child has an incredible learning experience filled with lots of fun in a safe and friendly environment!

  • Mini Stars Full Year Program

  • Mini Stars 3 Year Old

    Combination of ballet, creative movement, jazz and obstacle course with tumbling. This is a 45 minute class once a week. It is designed to develop co-ordination, classroom etiquette and listening skills, spacing awareness and dance through song and games.
    They learn a song and actions for the Winter Magic Show in December and learn a routine to be performed at the year end recital and show in June.

  • Mini Stars 4 Year Old

    This fantastic 45 minute class incorporates jazz, ballet, tap and hip hop. To further develop co-ordination skills, dancers learn balance beam and tumbling on occasion.

  • Mini Stars 5 Year Old Beginner

    Combination of tap, jazz, hip hop and tumbling in a one hour class once a week. The emphasis is on dance skills, while strengthening listening, spacing and focusing skills. Students learn the Al Gilbert Primary Tap Syllabus and learn a song and dance for the Winter Magic Show in December. They learn a routine to be performed at the year-end show in June and a Festival in May.

  • Mini Stars 4 & 5 Year Old Daytime

    A great class incorporating tap, jazz, ballet and hip hop for your little star! You can enjoy a coffee and free wi-fi in the parent lounge while your child is in a fun and educational class. Combination of tap, jazz, hip hop and tumbling in a one hour class once a week. The emphasis is on dance skills, while strengthening listening, spacing and focusing skills. Students learn the Al Gilbert Primary Tap Syllabus and learn a song and dance for the Winter Magic Show in December. They learn a routine to be performed at the year-end show in June and a Festival in May.

  • Mini Stars 5 Year Old (with dance experience)

    This class is designed for those little stars who have had some previous dance classes. It has a combination of tap, ballet, jazz, hip hop and obstacle course/tumbling in a 1 hour class once a week. There is an emphasis on dance skills, while continuing to strengthen listening and focusing skills. Students learn the Al Gilbert Primary Tap Syllabus, learn a song and dance for the Winter Magic Show (December) and learn a routine for the year-end show (June) and a Festival (May).

  • Acro 4 & 5 Year Old

    Dance Theme’s Acro instructors have been certified in the Acrobatic Arts Training and Certification which is an extensive, hands-on training program. Our classes are taught following the well-structured curriculum which allows students to progress in their Acro training with balanced development and confidence. Students will learn an Acro routine for the year-end show. Dance attire is a tight fitting bodysuit with bare feet.

  • Tutu's & Bowties Full Year Program

  • Tutu's & Bowties

    Tutus and Bowties is a ballet and creative movement class with a variety of monthly themes. Students will have a fun filled ballet class based on well-known characters such as Barbie, Angelina Ballerina and much more! The program is designed to provide our youngest students with excellent ballet training in an inspirational and fun environment. Tutus and Bowties will replace our existing Angelina Ballerina program, to allow for  a variety of themes throughout the year.

  • Hip Hop Full Year Program for 4 & 5 Year Olds

    This popular, energetic and fun class is a great way for your child to learn dance skills, get exercise and have fun! They learn a routine to be performed at the year-end show in June and a Festival in May.
